- EGEmma GoracAug 12, 20261.0hands down the most insane PO i’ve ever dealt w/. i have multiple missing packages. i submitted a ticket on the USPS website. this PO emails me sending me random information trying to pass off the responsibility to find their residents package back onto me... while acting as if i chose to contact them when i can’t control who gets the ticket. they refuse to look into anything. the package in question is supposed to be going to Wilkes Barre. it should have been there a week ago. so i presume that’s why the ticket went to them. so i presume that they’re supposed to help figure out where it is. i have never gotten this response from a post office during a a missing mail search before. & trust me, i’ve had dozens of missing packages at this point. (over 40. in the last few months alone) all of the PO that have gotten these tickets have helped to track down the package or they’ve forwarded the info to the CORRECT post office. they havent just passed that responsibility back to me & told me to contact places i have no ability to contact. almost every time i open a missing mail ticket, (except when a package was stolen) that package is back on track within 48 hours. this is the very first time that hasn’t happened. i’m guessing it’s bc the ppl who are supposed to find the package aren’t actually doing that & they’re relying on customers to either give up, or for them to sit on the phone for hours trying to get help elsewhere. why would USPS forward you guys this ticket if you weren’t supposed to help find it? & if you aren’t goint to forward that info to the correct place, how am i supposed to locate it when i can’t contact those places directly? insane.
