I had an extremely frustrating experience with a USPS delivery driver today. The driver stopped a USPS-marked van directly in front of the exit to our development, completely blocking traffic while delivering a letter to a nearby office. When I questioned it, instead of simply moving the vehicle forward a few feet to allow traffic through, he approached my vehicle and instructed me to drive into the opposing traffic lane to get around him. The problem is that this entrance is divided by a traffic island and serves as the main access point for vehicles entering the development. Driving into the oncoming lane was not a safe or reasonable solution. Moving the van forward 10 feet would have solved the problem immediately. What made the situation even more frustrating was the driver’s attitude. Rather than correcting the issue, he argued the point, then got back into the van and drove away moments later. If he was able to leave that quickly, why block the exit and create the problem in the first place? I was also surprised by the appearance of the driver. There appeared to be no USPS uniform shirt or hat, making it difficult to identify him as an employee beyond the marked vehicle. Delivering mail in surf wear. Professionalism, safety, and common courtesy matter. Suggesting that motorists drive the wrong way into opposing traffic because a delivery vehicle is blocking the road is unacceptable. USPS should do better.

Super helpful in providing me the best option for delivery of time-sensitive materials, and the delivery timeframe was faster than I expected.

Absolutely horrible. If it were up to me, USPS wouldn't exist anymore. They've just gotten worse and worse...and have the nerve to keep raising prices! This time, a package they lost, sent all around the state, finally ends up there, late of course, and I go to pick it up and the desk clerk says, "there's a lot of packages back there". REALLY? No doubt its damaged now, since its been on-and-off a truck 6 times, and through countless sorters. There are so many more instances, from missed pension checks, to outright theft. Just stop using them. It's a risk and a gamble. I feel bad for those that depend on them for meds, or anything that requires accurate, timely delivery.

I personally don’t care what it looks like, as long as it sent my package. But some people might care that it’s old, outdated and depressing looking inside. I don’t like the parking. Parking on the busy street bumper to bumper, or on the side street, which can be a good walk. Side street looks sketchy. Otherwise, the workers were friendly and knowledgeable.
