  This is the worst post office I have ever been to. The newer employees, particularly one female employee, have been consistently unprofessional and rude in their interactions with customers. I have also observed the customer feedback screen being selected as “satisfied” on behalf of customers, which raises concerns about the accuracy of the survey results. The employees are reaching over the counter to select the responses themselves instead of allowing the customer to choose their appropriate response. In addition, wait times at this location are routinely 20 minutes or longer, making visits unnecessarily frustrating. USPS should address these service issues and provide additional customer service training to staff. Based on my experiences, I would avoid this location whenever possible.

  I called 10 times over the best 4 days and no one has answered. I had a package being sent to my mother in law as a gift to cheer her up since her family member just passed away and wanted an update on the package just for it to be returned to sender. They never answered me not once and I called before and after their lunch break. I do not live in PA so I couldn’t go to the store and ask in person however my grieving mother in law checked her PO box where it was supposed to be delivered and found nothing. What a shame

  13 years in PA always issues. Mike is the only guy there to care and know what he’s doing.

  Ray at the Pocono Summit Passport Center provided me with exceptional service during my visit. Although he managed to handle everything efficiently by himself, I think it would be beneficial for the center to have more staff members to assist with passport applications and package handling.

  We visited this Post office for a passport for my 17 year old son. Twice. The First time I was told my documents would likely not be accepted. Even though they were listed on the Government website under approved documents. I was told that we could pay the fees and submit but likely it would be rejected. I don't have time for it to be submitted, rejected, then resubmitted again. So I left, got different documents (Under the suggestion of the Post Office). My wife returned a few days later, During (WALK-IN) hours. The associate (RAY) was very rude to her. She was patient and understanding when he told her that she'd have to wait a little as there were people in front of her. She waited as he repeatedly took customers and walk-ins in front of her over and over. She stood there for almost 2 hours waiting. Just for Ray to continue his rude behaviors. She kept asking if she would be next, he would continuiously respond that he'd try to get to her at some point. 2 hours!!!! she waited patiently. His response was " See, this is why I told you to make an appointment". 2 Hours! He wouldn't take 15 mins to complete a passport photo and submit the "Pre-filled" documents. As an associate of the United States Post Office. Customer service should be #1 priority. These are government employees performing government tasks. I've never in my entire life had this level of disrespect and poor service. If you can, my recommendation is to go somewhere else. Anywhere else!
