I don't know what it is about every post office I visit but it seems like all employees are generally unfriendly and unhelpful. Unfortunately this location is no different. My most recent complaint is going in with a box to ship that just needed packing tape and being told I have to buy my own roll of tape. Maybe that's "standard," but I definitely haven't had that experience at other post offices. I believe it's probably up to the staff member whether they feel like being kind and helpful or not. Like I said, making things as difficult as possible and just generally being unhelpful seems to be the goal so many post office employees have, at this location in particular. It's sad. I recommend finding another location for your mailing services, even if you have to travel further.

Just left this post office after being harassed and verbally abused by the postal service workers. The lady that works in the back is the nastiest and rudest person ever. I have a business and dropped off packages. They get annoyed because they don’t wanna deal with me. They told me to take my packages somewhere else. I spend a lot of money on shipping through usps, thousands each week. I asked for a cart, and the lady brought a little cart out instead of a bigger cart today on purpose to be rude. I said I can’t fit them in this cart. The lady started ripping the cart out of my hands and said o well we aren’t taking your stuff. I put the 20 packages back in my car cause I didn’t trust them with my stuff. Now my packages are going to be late. This lady needs to be fired. I can’t believe someone would treat someone this way at a post office. Especially that’s right down the street from where I live. I’m hoping usps contacts me back soon about this. It’s unacceptable.

I have been going to Plum post office for over 5 years, always with Marcie working the desk, she is awesome. She knows all her customers and everyone I see there loves her. The people who are complaining all seem upset because of expectations that are beyond her control. She runs the whole place by herself and does a great job at it. I'd hate to deal with the people whining on here knowing how nice of a person Marcie is. She must deal with some sour entitled miserable people from Plum sometimes...I wouldn't wait for you while it's my lunch break or tape your packages either!!!

I checked one star because there isn't anything lower ... I can't believe the USPS allows a blatant racist to work behind the counter in Plum Borough. She is ignorant, unprofessional and discourteous. I have never come across a person who works in customer service as horrible as this woman. She is a pathetic excuse for a postal worker. Do yourself a huge favor and inconvenience yourself and go out of your way to avoid this disgraceful human being. And her supervisors Marty & Carter condone her poor behavior.
