Headline: 5 Weeks, 3 States, 5 Branches, and Total Failure" As a retired SAP Software Architect and owner of two Florida businesses (Comida, LLC and Engle Home Rentals), I have never witnessed a more broken corporate system than PNC Bank. After 5 weeks of trying to link two internal accounts for liquidity transfers, I have been met with nothing but incompetence across Missouri, Kansas, and Florida. From being told to use Zelle for $20,000 transfers in KC, to a 3.5-hour setup marathon in Overland Park, to a 'command performance' in Sarasota where the link failed 5 times in front of me—the experience was a disaster. It culminated in a manager in Valrico telling me that as a 20% owner, I suddenly 'couldn't be on the account,' contradicting 5 months of previous status. This bank is a fragmented mess of misinformation and prehistoric tech. My business partner and I are closing our accounts and moving to a bank that understands 21st-century business. If you value your time and your business's stability, look elsewhere." "The final insult: PNC Customer Service admitted their system cannot handle dual-ownership entities. They actually suggested we change our internal business 'controlling party' structure just to satisfy their technical limitations. They expect the customer to break their own corporate governance to fix PNC's broken software."

PNC Ignored Account Take Over to Fund Fraudulent Loan If you value your identity and account security, be warned: PNC PRIORITIZES COLLATERAL over customer’s safety. I am a 20-year PNC customer and a former employee. I was trained by this institution on KYC, ATO, and Identity Theft "Red Flag" protocols. I am posting this to warn others that PNC failed to follow the very security standards they once required me to enforce. During a 7-month title delay involving a local dealership, an unauthorized phone number was added to my 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) login. Despite this being a textbook indicator of an Account Takeover (and confirmed by the fraud department by the audible "this is account takeover" PNC allowed the loan to be "perfected" and funded using this compromised security credential. Even more disturbing, PNC was notified that the dealership was going to utilize a REVOKED Power of Attorney to forge my signature on state documents. Then, while I was at work, the dealer told the DMV the car was in their "inventory" to mask odometer issues. PNC’s response to my CFPB complaint was simply that they "removed the phone number" and that the "loan is valid." Under the FTC Holder Rule (included in my contract), the bank is legally responsible for the dealer’s fraud. Yet, PNC chose to ignore documented forgery and a compromised account to secure their lien.

A year’s worth of phone calls trying to change my due date by 7 days on my auto loan. After you wait on hold for over 20 minutes at a time, everyone has a different answer. They take 2-3 days longer than most institutions to post payments, even with a PNC checking account. Last week I had enough and refinanced, when asking for the 10 day payout and the finalization paperwork the representative offered no options to electronically transfer funds, never looked at my due date to consider the paper check they were requesting to be mailed might not get there on time. A paper check and the USPS in 2026? Now my due date is a day away and they want a payment and tell me over payments take 3-4 weeks to be mailed out. When they are in possession of a check for the entire balance! A true masterclass in ineptness bordering on willful negligence. UPDATE: We put a stop payment on the check and over-nighted another one. In the mean time someone at PNC finds the check we cancelled and tried to post it to the account. Of course that check bounced and now Im in collections as we wait for them to post the second check they received 4 days ago.

Certain employees working in the cafeteria on the 3rd floor are rude and need to get over themselves. Grown adults talking down about a stranger's looks who is just going about their day. There's nobody to impress. It's always the one's who aren't lookers themselves talking the most stuff just mad they aren't getting the attention they want. Pathetic. Stay irrelevant.
