Mortgage was sold to them from another lender. They assured me nearly everything should remain the same except just a change in my portal. This has not been the case and PNC has been nightmarish like they want their customers to be in the 21st century while their business practices remain in the 1990s still. They need signature authorization via a literal written form MAILED to them to do auto-withdrawal. Setting up an account with them literally required me to open a letter to get a key to register an account instead of just giving me an email with the information and I had to call over the phone as the letter got misplaced in transit and I almost missed a payment over it.

Please fix your deposit ap for phones. It works occasionally but not consistently. I have a newer phone with a good camera and it still does not work right.

Has the 'application black hole' become the new norm? I recently applied for a role that seemed like a perfect match, only to receive a generic 'moving in another direction' email with zero context or feedback. We talk a lot about 'candidate experience,' but that should start from the moment someone hits submit. It’s incredibly draining to spend time tailoring a resume and cover letter only to be met with a brick wall of silence or a template rejection. A little transparency goes a long way in making candidates feel like more than just a number. Do better!

In June, October and November 2025 I redeemed 57 US I Bonds from the treasury department totalling $1468. I have confirmed with the US Treasury dept that the funds were sent ACH to my PNC checking account... except PNC says they have no record of receiving the funds. I have gotten conflicting information from their call center reps (who are worthless as employees). Its been over 6 months since I started questioning PNC bank and they refuse to contact me on a timely basis and evertime I send them the information they need - magically they need more. They didn't even believe the 1099 issued by the US Treasury Dept, the email sent from the US Treasury dept, etc. PNC rep Rachel in Retail support has not contacted me in over a week despite 2 calls to her. She doesnt contact me unless I initiate... PNC is slow walking my concerns and in my opinion has committed WIRE FRAUD. PNC should be renamed PaNiC bank - because all they will do is make you panic. Worst bank ever... and full of thieves.

Things are changing at PNC bank. Customer service (phone and chat) not only has long wait times, but rude staff who are dishonest. Currently PNC owes me $19 and an apology to me and another organization. I see from other reviews I'm not the only one with a refreshed opinion about how we feel about PNC bank. So much potential and likely future business much less likely to happen now, all because of poorly trained staff, a lie, and $19. Enjoy the $19 and the loss of a lot of business. You won't get a 2nd opportunity to do this to me.
