This great PO has been permanently closed.🤦🏻♀️😡They were always really pleasant, helpful, and patient despite being understaffed, and dealing with long lines.

The staff at this post office are super nice, friendly, and helpful. So why 3 stars? Because for a post office right across the street from UofP, close to a LOT of residences, a post office we all depend on, they are closed due to staffing shortages constantly. There is no excuse for this post office to be short staffed. This isn’t on the staff that’s there, this is on whoever’s not hiring or sending enough staff. It’s beyond ridiculous.

Postal staff at this location have been observed speaking negatively about customers immediately after they leave, as well as making disparaging remarks about coworkers during active transactions. On multiple occasions, postal staff refused to process shipments or generate tracking numbers, citing being short-staffed as justification for not completing basic services.
Most concerning, customers are pressured to submit positive feedback on the POS terminal before receiving their receipt, and those who don't respond quickly or favorably enough are publicly criticized in front of other customers.
These issues may reflect broader dysfunction within the USPS system, but operational strain is not an excuse for treating customers with disrespect.

Loveliest lady in any post office I’ve ever been to. Usually, going to USPS is needlessly stressful. The atmosphere is so heavy and tense. Not this location! The woman working here (who has always been the only person working every time I’ve gone) is such a joy. Although this location is often shut down for Internet outages and other inconveniences, the customer service will make your day! She really goes the extra mile. Give her a raise!!!
