It's extremely frustrating to rely on a federal institution that is incapable of executing its lawfully appointed duties.
"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"
It's an official motto, but it encapsulates spirit that should be guiding the post office. I'm cognizant of the funding issues that obfuscate the execution of the USPS's mission to ensure personal and commercial mail reaches it's citizens. That would be excusable, but for the bad faith unprofessional at this office that must objectively stem from top management.
You can't inculcate a civic virtue that supports your own institution when the taxpayer funded employees are unwilling to execute their duties.
So that is either systemic corruption or boorish incompetence. Either one undermines the public trust.

I went around 12pm they were not busy and it took only a minute for one of the girls to take care of me. She girl was very nice and sweet and respectful to me and others when she took them.

Employees are very friendly and do their job to the best of their ability and the resources given to them. The long lines are not their fault, as the location is clearly understaffed — that is a management or budget issue, not a reflection of the workers themselves. The male employee who is usually behind the counter deserves special recognition and honestly deserves a raise. He consistently works hard despite the challenges of being short-staffed.
