Last month I dropped my mail at the mail box next to the post office and all of my mail got stolen. One of checks I mailed was fraudulently cashed at my bank. I went to inform post office staff of the incident. The response I got: “ It is not our responsibility to keep your mail safe and do not drop mail at our post office box because it could be stolen “.
