Best customer service I have ever received at a USPS location! Multiple folks (including my regular mail carrier and the manager) at the 900 N 19th St location were so helpful in finding a important letter sent via certified mail. Thank you all for your friendly and thorough customer service!

The staff here is lovely and people are just mad because they don't understand they can't get stamps and envelopes here. The staff isn't being rude, the people who are huffing about stamps are the ones being rude. There is another location for that just a few blocks away and people act like its the end of the world to walk over there. Simple online research would tell you this place is not a full post office. People say these workers don't know what they are doing when it is definitely the custormers that don't know what they are doing.

I previously reported on packages never delivered from zip 19130 and packages sent to me here in 19130 that I never got. This review is about first class mail being dropped off at Fairmount post office at 19th and Fairmount (I actually go inside and drop it in the mail slot!) and not getting to its destination at all or three-four weeks later when it's addressed to a suburb 15 miles away. Since August 2019 and today (10/9/19) it has happened twice.

USPS is what it is. I’m putting that aside for the review - the workers in this facility are always extremely helpful and kind. It seems they see me enough to where they even ask about hair changes, lol. It’s a thankless business, but I appreciate how personable they can be if you treat them with respect instead of just being angry all the time at the company they work for.
