- KCKate CroulJan 16, 20265.0The staff here is lovely and people are just mad because they don't understand they can't get stamps and envelopes here. The staff isn't being rude, the people who are huffing about stamps are the ones being rude. There is another location for that just a few blocks away and people act like its the end of the world to walk over there. Simple online research would tell you this place is not a full post office. People say these workers don't know what they are doing when it is definitely the custormers that don't know what they are doing.
- KCKage ChaosDec 31, 20251.0Ordered a gaming desk from Amazon Dec 28th. It said it would arrive today Dec 31st. I called Amazon whom told me that delivery drivers may mark packages as delivered moments before it arrived. It did not arrive. Amazon wanted to call this location to get information for me but couldn't because it's 8pm on new years eve. Well it was marked as delivered to a parcel locker to which my apartment building doesn't have parcel lockers. No photos were provided. I received no email confirmation at all. Of course after checking the zip code for the delivery I pulled this location up (IT'S DOWN THE BLOCK FROM ME MIND YOU. THERE ISN'T AN EXCUSE YOU CAN GIVE ME FOR WHAT IS A 5 MINUTE WALK [pictures of proof provided]) and found that this is apparently common behavior from this location. I don't actually expect to get my package at this point. I almost expect them to pretend as though I am crazy when I go to ask about my stuff tomorrow... on the bright side I already spoke to Amazon. I will talk to them again so THEY can contact them before I show up because this is ridiculous.

This review is about first class mail being dropped off at Fairmount post office at 19th and Fairmount (I actually go inside and drop it in the mail slot!) and not getting to its destination at all or three-four weeks later when it's addressed to a suburb 15 miles away. Since August 2019 and today (10/9/19) it has happened twice.

It seems they see me enough to where they even ask about hair changes, lol. It’s a thankless business, but I appreciate how personable they can be if you treat them with respect instead of just being angry all the time at the company they work for.
