Lol I remember this crowd. I turned down an entry level job with them directly years ago. Years later, 'Rachel' reached out to discuss a Sr role with one of the companies they hire for, which I'd applied to. When I went along for the first interview, Rachel wasn't available, but a higher-upper (some English guy) met me, and stated the position I'd applied for was an old ad that had never been removed, 'but how about an entry level job working with them directly?' 😅 Of course, I just stood up, gave my 2c and left. Seemed like a well-practiced bait and switch routine I imagine they're still getting people with today.

I’ve worked with quite a few recruiters in the Philadelphia area, and Robert Half/The Creative Group is by far the worst. Being overqualified for positions and hearing nothing, an online system that is ancient and completely lacking, and myriad recruiters who never answer messages and never record a thing about you because every time you do eventually get a hold of them, they need to re-question you about everything. To be clear, this isn’t a negative review based on not landing a position. Many recruiters fall short in that regard, but The Creative Group is so inept in all forms of service, I assume they are staffed with those who used their service and realized it must be the easiest, non-responsibility job out there.

I make a point of not leaving negative reviews but the lack of professionalism from this company has been infuriating. I have had issues with their admins not sending documents on multiple occasions and one recruiter from their law department in particular that blatantly lied about the process to, I believe, try and manipulate me into accepting positions that would only bring in commission money (he had confirmed that they do receive commissions from the types of jobs he presented). When I informed this recruiter that I had questions about the contract, his response was borderline aggressive. He also followed up with emails that contradicted prior conversations. Basically, he lied about the potential of me being considered for permanent positions so that I would agree to work with the company, hoping that I would accept temporary positions in the meantime. Frustrated at having been lied to , I did want to not let my experience with the recruiter ruin any future opportunities; I called their office directly to ask to speak to someone. While the woman who answered the phone was friendly, she was difficult as well. She gave me the name of whom I needed to speak with but was not able to tell me who that person was or their position within the company. Turned out she was giving me the voicemail number of one of the department directors. I will say that the director who called me back was incredibly genuine, informative, professional, and, I believe, honest--also to say she confirmed that the information I had been told by the recruiter was entirely false. Feeling reassured that this company wasn't a scam, I reached back out to the recruiter, explained my concerns and frustrations but stated that I agreed with their advice and would be happy to move forward to consider temporary positions. He has ignored all further attempts to move forward. I had been working with a second recruiter from a different department, as well. I was sent a notice of a position and was told that, if I was interested, they would send a data entry assessment via email. I responded and never received the assessment. I sent an email to follow-up and was told that it had been their admin's responsibility to send it. That was several weeks ago and I have not heard any updates from that department sense. The director I had spoke with had told me to reach out with any further questions or concerns but, frankly, I'm so frustrated that I don't think they're worth any more of my time.
