My mail goes to the neighbors at least 2 times per week. Sometimes, the mail carrier doesn’t come to pick up letters in the mailbox waiting for the carrier. The USPS is not reliable anymore! It’s a shame!

I've used this post office dozens of times, and until yesterday, every package I've mailed had the address entered into the computer and a professional printed shipping label generated at the counter. When I visited around 4:00 p.m. on June 24, the clerk insisted their computer couldn't print a label and instead tried to tape my handwritten address directly onto the package. It looked unprofessional, and I wasn't comfortable sending it that way. I declined the transaction, stepped into the lobby, logged into USPS.com, purchased the postage myself, and returned with a QR code. Ironically, the same computer was then able to scan the QR code and print a professional shipping label without any problem. The issue wasn't the technology—it was the lack of knowledge about how to use it and the unwillingness to offer a better solution. This experience was frustrating and completely avoidable. Don't waste your time visiting in person.

I honestly cannot stand the Northampton Post Office anymore. This place is an absolute disaster. They constantly lose mail, deliver packages to the wrong addresses, or mark things as “delivered” that never show up at all. It’s not an occasional mistake either — it happens over and over and over again. Trying to get help is a complete joke. They never answer the phone, and when you go there in person, the employees are some of the rudest, most ignorant, and most unhelpful people I’ve ever dealt with. Nobody takes responsibility, nobody follows up, and nobody seems to care that people’s mail and packages are constantly disappearing. I’ve reported the same issues multiple times and nothing ever changes. Every interaction feels like you’re bothering them for expecting them to do the bare minimum part of their job correctly. It’s unbelievable that a service this bad is allowed to continue with zero accountability. At this point I have absolutely no trust in this post office whatsoever. If there were literally any alternative for regular mail delivery, I’d use it immediately.
