  Please fire the lazy incompetent postal worker who refuses to deliver the mail on Sundays! This person lies on the form saying that our driveway is inaccessible or that we asked for the mail to be held. The truth is we live in Saltsburg, and they’re supposed to deliver the mail here on Sundays, but in the five years we’ve lived here we’ve never gotten one package. Instead, we get a bunch of lies and have to wait an extra three days to get our mail once it’s sent back to our local post office. Seems like a simple concept, if you lie and don’t do your job, you should be fired! Also, it would be banner if you could pick up that thing that makes a noise in your office called the telephone. Both we, the Saltsburg postal workers, and USPS customer support (after our Web complaint) all tired calling. If you don’t wanna do your job, there are plenty of people who will.

  ⭐ New Kensington Post Office — Extremely Disappointing Experience I have had ongoing problems with the New Kensington Post Office that need to be addressed. I receive a significant amount of certified mail, and the mail carrier has routinely failed to knock on my door when attempting delivery. This has not been an isolated incident—it has been a consistent problem. I previously brought this issue to the Post Office’s attention a couple of weeks ago and was told that the carrier should be knocking when attempting delivery. I also regularly receive Amazon packages that are delivered through USPS, and my packages have repeatedly been delivered to my neighbors’ homes instead of mine. Again, this is not a one-time mistake. It has happened consistently enough that I finally went to the Post Office in person to address these problems. Unfortunately, my experience there was just as disappointing. I spoke with a woman with blue hair who was extremely rude and dismissive when I tried to explain what had been happening. She told me that carriers “do not have to knock,” which directly contradicted what I had previously been told by this same Post Office. I also mailed certified mail during this visit. Instead of explaining the available mailing options and prices and allowing me to choose, she simply charged me the highest-priced option without asking me what service I wanted. When I asked when my mail would be delivered, she refused to give me the date and told me it would be on my receipt. Customers should be able to expect their certified mail to be properly attempted, their packages to be delivered to the correct address, and courteous, knowledgeable service when they come into the Post Office for assistance. The New Kensington Post Office needs to address these recurring delivery problems and ensure that its employees are properly trained in both postal procedures and customer service. My experience today was completely unacceptable, especially after I had already reported some of these same problems previously.

  I've recently started selling clothes online and upon my first visit to this facility I had zero knowledge on what exactly I was supposed to do. An incredibly helpful man named Jim explained the process to me and was friendly. Despite the fact that I was still doing a transaction at 3 minutes to close, I was met with patience and I appreciate it beyond words. Jim is the man.
