- P1PA 1749Aug 29, 20263.0The over the counter service is great. The employees are generally friendly and helpful. The issue is that no one ever answers the phone. There have been times that I have called repeatedly for 20 minutes with no one even picking up the say, "Can you please hold." Another issue, and I know that this is not our local Post Office, but the postal service in general is lacking far behind FedEx and UPS. Their delivery times remain accurate to the hour.While the postal service is constantly losing things and moving dates back. For instance, today I was supposed to receive a delivery, I've just come to accept the fact that at most likely will not arrive. So, I called the post office to see if it was there, more than willing to walk down the street and pick it up. That would've helped them, and I would have been happy. Unfortunately , no one ever picked up the phone. If they would have even just to say it's not here, this review would have never gotten written. That is very frustrating. While i've always enjoyed speaking to the employees at the counter, and always rate them with a smile, everything else is an issue.
