Hours are very weird and they close when they feel like it. Always a hit or miss whether or not they’re open even if google says they are. Everytime I’m in there the front desk lady is very blunt and just straight rude. She has no empathy or patience for anyone. Do better.

I don’t understand all of the negative comments regarding this post office..? First of all, it’s a GOVERNMENT OFFICE - what do you expect? Secondly, the employees change all the time, it’s like that one movie said: “Life is like a box of chocolates. Ya never know what you’re gunna get”! Third, just like you and I, people have issues they unintentionally carry into work; this affects their mood. Are you the same day in and day out? Lastly, this is a post office, not a drive thru fast food “restaurant”. The delivery is the only gripe we really have in this household and I don’t think it’s Dover’s fault. Sign up for package tracking, download the app if ya want. You’ll see things go to Harrisburg, then to York, then Dover. A few times we’ve seen the mail bounce back and forth between York and Harrisburg TWICE, before finally reaching the Dover office. It’s wacky, but again; not their fault is it? No, I don’t work there; I just understand shipping and receiving and delivery of goods. I was a warehousing worker for most of my life until beginning to drive truck from PA to Ohio, to Michigan, to Ohio again, then West Virginia, and back home to PA. (Lancaster/York) Cut em’ a break! This work isn’t “easy” it’s very detail oriented and mistakes happen, write clearly or use a printed label. Just wanted to put in my two cents regarding people going ballistic on a POST OFFICE and their delivery drivers. It’s the cost of living in a semi-rural area: delivery is slowwww! But isn’t it beautiful up here and away from the city? 🤷‍♂️❤️

Craig from USPS likes the talk about customer's phone call to other customers, specifically to Roger. I don't know who Roger is or why Craig is talking about my situation to Roger the customer. Super unprofessional. I don't know why someone in customer service would divulge details of a phone call to anyone else. Poorly handled.

This post office absolutely sucks. They do not answer the phone and the person who delivers the mail must have earned their diploma from the University of Stupid as there has been several occasions that I've received the wrong mail in my mailbox.
