Don't shop here. Bought a printer, a month later the printer isn't working properly. I'm told it's a 14 day return policy. They know they're selling you garbage, that's why it's only 14 days. No respectable retailer would have a 14 day return period, especially for defective items.

Staples in Cranberry has always been a great store....until my experience today. If I could give no stars I would. I had 4 Amazon returns all packaged and ready to go and each had a bar code for the return. Easy-peasy. I was completely prepared and I was the only one in line. I walked up to the counter and the associate began waiting on me with my returns. He was halfway through my returns when someone walked up in the line beside me with toner to recycle. He left me in the middle of our transaction and went over to help her. Huh? Okay..... I've worked retail. You never leave a customer in the middle of a transaction to go wait on someone else. Never. That person deserves your attention and respect. Anyway, the other customer took several minutes with her toner then I figured the associate would come back over and finish up my Amazon transactions. Nope! Another customer walked up in the other line with several separate purchases and he began waiting on them. At this point it's going on about 6-7 minutes that I was left standing there waiting to finish my Amazon returns. The associate finally got on his headset and called for help. Finally! At this point there are now 2 more customers behind me waiting with their Amazon returns. I finally spoke up and asked the associate if there was a whole line of customers in the checkout would I be left standing there in the Amazon line forever? And the manager walks over and says "Yes, we wait on our paying customers first." Really? REALLY?!! Well guess what? YOU JUST LOST A PAYING CUSTOMER. I had planned on shopping after my Amazon returns were done. Not any more! I'm done with Staples. That was the rudest, most disrespectful response the manager could have said. And Amazon should seriously reconsider this location based on their mistreatment of customers. And by the way, it only took about 30 seconds for the manager to finish my Amazon returns which the associate should have done in the first place. What should have taken a couple minutes ended up taking about 15 minutes simply because I was not a paying customer. Well Staples, you got your wish, I will NEVER be a paying customer. Good luck trying to keep your store open if that is how you treat people.

I actually do wonder how many reports of terrible, dismissive customer service they need before significant changes are made. Such an awful experience at the Amazon line today. It feels like the store hates having an Amazon line. It’s not my problem which parts of the job they feel like doing.
