USPS...ALWAYS TRASH. How the hell is it you fill out international shipping on the USPS website, print it out, and take it to the post office to ship and they can't manage to ship the damn package. The postal code for where I am shipping is ##-###, and yet the person at the desk can't seem to figure that out. STANDARD FEDERAL INCOMPETENCE.

I’m reporting this office to western pa consumer affairs after experiencing the worst service of my life. Ben the clerk and Kelly the mail carrier were tremendously rude, dismissive, unprofessional, and racist. I even received threats by Kelly the carrier the first day I met her 6/22/26 to withhold my mail due to speaking up for myself. She marked my mail as vacant by writing it on random paper then returned all my mail. This isn’t standard policy as I should’ve received notification and a 10 day grace period to retrieve. My mail was marked vacant on Friday 6/12 and returned the SAME DAY. I stopped by the office Monday 6/15 and it was confirmed by the Post master, Jim as I escalated my concerns immediately. On 6/22 I was able to discuss miscommunication matters with Kelly the carrier and she again was extremely rude, dismissive, unprofessional and made threats to me including if I don’t empty my mail in 3 days she would then return it again. She accused me of lying saying I haven’t checked my mail in 2 months, in which I also have proof of mail retrieved recently. She walked off mid conversation after I asked may I record our conversation as proof and she stated no. I respected her wishes then flew up to the post office to hold my mail as I’ve been living here for over 4 years with no problems with my mail. She advised this is her second month on this route. I’ll be filing the biggest complaint with consumer affairs as I’ve already documented and reported my complaint at lower level. I refuse to be treated in this manner under any circumstance. I’ve done nothing but communicate in the most respectful manner. Now I’ll escalate to Post master CEO David Steiner and the inspector general until this is fully and properly investigated. It’s no reason I should feel completely uncomfortable to receive my mail at my home or in the post office. I’ve never experienced this in my life and I’m almost 40 years old. Please be aware as others stated the customer service and protocol at this location is dwindling. USPS has federal laws to follow in which they do NOT!

I don't know how they find the slowest most unenthusiastic people to work the counter but I've never met or witnessed such a group of entitled government workers who wouldn't last an 8-hour shift in the private sector. Poor service slow service something's always broken there's always a holdup for some reason whether the parcel bin is broken or a machine is broken and then you have to look at their miserable faces and think about how much of your tax dollar is being wasted...
They're all bad but this one is particularly bad. It makes me long for the day when post offices are obsolete thank you FedEx UPS email and electronic bill pay!
