The young man randall up front was the best. I had a weird package to send to my grandson in Hawaii and wasn't sure what the right way was. That guy was so knowledgeable and helpful that he knew exactly what I needed by just looking at my items. The postal people are always so friendly at this location I visit at least once a week Id say.

My husband recently shared a negative review with me that I find absurd. I am a small business owner, and I go into the West Linn post office at least once a day for my Esty shop. The people are always helpful up front when I need my packages scanned so my customers know they're on the way. The cashiers up front always try to help me when I have problems with my packages too. As a small business owner my self I just wanted come on here and defend the people up front. I know how hard some customers can be when they're having a bad day and take it out on the workers.

Recently went into the post office this Saturday where a woman was accosting the young man upfront "randal" because she was trying to ship something overseas without the right forms. I now see that crazy lady has also left a negative review even though she was in the wrong for not being prepared, and that's somehow the post offices fault. The woman was so entitled that the few of us in line all looked at each other. I come in all the time and the young guy up front is always helpful this woman must just have been having a bad day and took it out on him for no reason or maybe she acts like that all the time.

I visited the West Linn Post Office today to ship a small package, internationally. I approached the counter when asked and was "greeted" by a member of staff named Randell. "Yes?" was his welcome. I explained I had a small package and he gave me the paper-work to complete and directed me (very rudely) to pick a packet from a shelf. I walked over and started browsing to find the right-sized package when he shouted across, "I TOLD YOU WHICH PACKET TO PICK!! "NO, NOT THAT ONE!!!". I was simply checking I had the right size packet despite his instructions - I wanted to be sure. When I returned to the counter, the verbal abuse continued, "I already told you which packet to choose, the one you had was too small. I've got to add shipping documents to the packet you know!" I had of course picked the correct packet, so it was unclear why he continued to scold me! His voice had a strong, exasperated and very condenscending tone. I responded to him in an equally strong tone telling him that, "I was simply LOOKING at the packets...I am allowed to look at the packets, surely?!!" Upon returning to the counter, I thumped down my paperwork and the pen, which was not my best moment, granted. That said, this member staff is not fit to serve the general public. He was condescending and rude without any provocation! I advised him that I would be lodging a complaint and upon returning home I found a complaint form on the USPS website. It has been submitted. Be warned, do not expect civility and good customer service from RANDELL at West Linn Post Office.

I am not completely satisfied with my mail /package delivery but I know post office in West Linn is relatively good in contrast to other locations. Don’t dis-encourage hard working postman, be nice and help them do better. At least, all employees here in West Linn location are super nice and friendly, eager to help.
