  If my experience is typical of this store, I would be very cautious about shipping anything with the UPS store in Sandy. I was on vacation in Oregon and had purchased several books that I couldn't fit into my carry on to fly home. I took them to the UPS store in Sandy, Oregon, on my way to the airport to ship them home. I paid for them to package the books and ship them. When I paid for the packaging, the clerk (Rykki) told me they would put packing material in the void of the package (what they call void filler) to keep the books from moving around and getting damaged as part of the packaging service I was paying for. When my package arrived, they had not put void filler in the box, the books moved around all over the place, and three books were damaged. And that wasn't the worst part. One of the books I gave them to put in the package was MISSING from the package. The only way that could have happened is if they didn't put the book in the package to begin with. I called the UPS store in Sandy directly to see if the missing book was still there, and spoke to one of the managers. She said they had not found a book at the store. I also complained about the lack of void filler and the damaged books. The manager said that there was no note entered into the computer about void filler being added to the package. This was despite the fact I specifically requested it with the clerk Rykki when she took the order, and she told me that void filler would be added. I had to file a claim with UPS for the missing and damaged books, and fortunately UPS paid me back on my claim. I have been going to UPS stores for years to ship my packages because I have always found them to be reliable, but the incompetence shown at this store was absolutely outrageous.
