Wanted everyone to know the Post Office provides a greatly needed service. I appreciate the people who work there and the quality of service they provide for all of us.
- ACArlen CepedaJul 22, 20261.0I had a very frustrating experience. I visited this post office because my mailbox key would not work. The employee told me my replacement key would be free and had me complete paperwork to place my mail on hold while I waited for the new key. When I later went to the main post office to follow up, I was told there was no mail hold request on file and that a replacement key actually costs $40. I had to spend additional time visiting another location because I was given incorrect information. I understand mistakes can happen, but I wish the information I received had been accurate the first time. I left feeling like my time had been wasted. I followed the instructions I was given, filled out the paperwork, and believed everything had been taken care of. Instead, I found out later that nothing had been processed and that I had been given incorrect information about the replacement key. I hope USPS improves employee training so customers receive accurate information the first time.
