- MMMMay 30, 20265.0They are very nice and they work hard. Sometimes the packages come later than expected or are undeliverable but I think that's due to staffing. They have went out of their way to help me a couple times.
- EAErin AlisonDec 3, 20241.0It looks like we are having the same issues as all the other reviews. We just moved to Rainier and I don't think we will be staying. I am very unimpressed. I have lived in a lot of towns in a lot of states and never had this issue with the post office anywhere except here, in this specific town. The post office was bringing packages to our front door, as all post offices do. Then magically it switched to that they cant deliver because our mailbox is full, when its completely empty. Our mailbox is at the end of our not so long driveway. The USPS driver is literally that lazy that they would rather leave notes in our mailbox and force redelivery work for everyone, or my 8 month pregnant self to have to go up to the post office to collect a box, rather than take the 30 seconds to bring to our front door. Unacceptable. On top of that I have a ton of outgoing mail, I work from home and send envelopes out daily with a couple packages a week. I did not request a daily pickup when I could and should have. Instead I drop my envelopes off directly at the post office every morning when taking my son to school. Magically every single barcode doesn't get scanned, it says pre-transit for days on every item. This causes extreme issues for myself and my customers. This ONLY happens with Rainier, no other post office. Instead now I drive my outgoing mail to Clatskanie when I go shopping or Scapoose the days I have prenatal appointments, neither of these post offices have issues with scanning my outgoing mail into their system, within an hour every day it shows In Transit.. ONLY Rainier cant seem to get it together with outgoing mail or mail delivery. Do better Rainier USPS you are failing miserably.

If it's short of staff problem, wouldn't it be easier just to deliver first time?? Looks like I'm not alone in my complaint.
