I had my PO Box for years at the Airport PO and received no notification that it had closed. It took three trips and some information from a former PO employee who told me where I needed to go. Right now apparently our boxes are still housed at the distribution center on Cornfoot Road. Don’t bother calling for information… I’ve spoken to several people at the toll-free PO number and they are clueless… They had no idea that there was no airport post office. UPDATE: I use this for my PO Box mostly, and this has finally opened for our boxes. It was easy to find, and parking wasn’t a problem. When I arrived, I was greeted by a very kind woman. She showed me where my box was and got my mail for me. When you go here the first time, someone will need to give you new keys. The woman that helped me explained that although the location had changed, we will still have our same post office box numbers, along with our old ZIP Code. I was quite worried about that. My original posting was during the stages where everything was disorganized. At that time I only gave it a one star. For my recent experience I would have liked to give it a five star but I can only give it a three star because there still isn’t a retail establishment opened up, plus when you phone you still are calling the number from the former Airport Way location and you don’t get to speak to anyone. All in all, I feel much better about all of this than before. I travel over 20 miles to get there because I’ve had the PO Box for so many years, starting out in East County. Now that I’m in another county, our mail service in my area is absolutely horrendous. That’s why I don’t change my address.
