I really appreciate this post office. The staff have been nothing but pleasant every time I go. Including the pre-Christmas mailing I did of like seven different packages. Always polite. Thanks, I appreciate you!

I love postal people, but I do have a little warning for those who might go to this Post Office and possibly others (?). I had a package with my packaging material minus tape. I did not know how I was going to send it whether I was going to use a prepaid envelope or my packaging that I brought. So I was going to see what was the most affordable option, I asked her which one it would be.And she pulled out a envelope for priority mail.I said, is that the cheapest and she said, yeah, it will come out to be about the same, without asking if thats what I wanted she just put it in and sealed it. She said it would be $14.68, i said, how much would it be if I used my own packaging, it's in an envelope already. And she said that it would be $10.65
I said id like to use my own packing, label and envelope its currently in, she then said I could buy a label and tape to tape my package closed and that I can only use tape on envelopes I buy from the post office. That's fine but ive never been told that and so I was surprised I only needed one piece but she stood on business that I could not have a piece of tape. Even though it 4:50pm on a friday and I'd stood in line for 30 min, I left and taped it up and returned. A different employee let me in at 4:59 and rang me up, (THANK YOU kind sir) the charge was only $8.60! The 1st employee tried to get me for almost DOUBLE THAT AMOUNT!
Anyway be forewarned tape ur package at home or pack it with you, if you go to Kenton p.o. and don't get upsold!

In 2026, United States celebrates a truly special milestone. Two hundred and fifty years is no short journey—it represents the unwavering effort, resilience, and shared dreams of an entire nation and its people.
I have been sending postcards and collecting stamps for friends both within and beyond America, hoping to revive the simple beauty of stamp and postcard collecting—a world where stories are preserved through time between the storyteller, the listener, and the one who carries the message.
Walking into the store again after so many years, I found that it still feels just the same. The staff are genuinely kind and welcoming, always greeting visitors with warm smiles. To preserve love, trust, and connection over such a long period of time is never an easy thing.
Congratulations on “250 Years of Delivering.” Thank you for being part of the invisible thread that connects people, memories, and stories across cities, across borders, and across generations.
Creativity has always been a gift. It is never just a letter, but a thread of connection—one that carries warmth, memory, and love from one person to another. So while we still can, let us choose to love one another, my friend.
