My package that I had on a Priority Mail 1-2-day delivery had to go through Eugene, then to Portland, and it's been at the Portland facility for over 15 days. This team is a completely incompetent team at mailing and they just don't seem to either update their trackers or have a single clue on what's going on.
I sent them a check that needed to be mailed to a financial handler and that's why it was on a priority 1- to 2-day shipping. It's just been on lockdown at their processing facility and it's completely insane that they can't process something. I can understand a 1- to 2-day delay, even on priority mail, but a 15-plus-day delay is completely unacceptable.
Use any other way to mail something other than USPS.

Rude staff wouldn’t give me label for my domestic mail even though there’s one right in front of him next to his notepad.

The best customer service and the smallest lines of any USPS I’ve been to in the region. Also open later on Saturday than other locations, so that’s a plus!

I went in and had their passport serviced done. Paid for expedited passport option, then it was processed standard time and they contacted me and said I never paid for my passport and want another $260 from me and won’t process it now. My trip is ruined!

I avoided writing this review because the first time it happened, I assumed it was just an unfortunate mistake. Unfortunately, it has now happened twice, once to me and once to a friend.
Earlier this year, I dropped off a batch of prepaid USPS packages for my small business at this location. Every other package I dropped off that day was delivered successfully. Only one package, containing over $1,000 worth of merchandise, was never scanned and never moved through the system. The tracking still showed USPS was waiting to receive the package, as if I had never dropped it off.
I tried filing a claim, but because there was no acceptance scan, USPS had no record that I ever turned the package over. From their perspective, I understand why they couldn't process the claim. I had no proof that I dropped it off. After months of going back and forth with USPS, I eventually had to accept the loss.
I also visited this post office to ask what might have happened. Could the package have been stolen? Misplaced? I wasn't looking to assign blame. I simply wanted to understand the process. The always impassive staff told me it wasn't their issue because packages aren't scanned until they reach the next processing facility, and that if I wanted proof of acceptance, I should have every prepaid package scanned at the counter. As someone who regularly ships 50 or more packages at a time, that's an incredibly impractical solution and largely defeats the convenience of prepaid labels.
Recently, a friend dropped off a prepaid return package in the drop box area at this same location. The exact same thing happened. It never received an acceptance scan and appears to have disappeared.
One missing package could be an unfortunate accident. However, two nearly identical incidents involving different people at the same location make it difficult to dismiss as simple bad luck. I searched through the reviews expecting to find similar experiences, but surprisingly didn't.
Because of these repeated incidents, I will be reporting this location to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service so they can determine whether there is a larger issue that needs to be investigated. At a minimum, I strongly recommend that anyone dropping off prepaid packages at this location have them scanned at the counter and obtain a receipt, regardless of how long the line is.
