The poor cashier was inundated and was the only person there he did the best he could with the rush of customers.

Unfortunately we’re off to a really really bad start here at this post office location, and it seems getting mail in the area in general. I paid up front and signed for my P.O. Box on the 2nd of the month. It wasn’t until about ten days later that, amid having difficulties finding packages/ tracking updates for them, I went online to get everything on my account straightened up and this is when I attempted to “link my P.O. Box” only to realize that the address that was literally written down for me by the attendant was actually wrong. Technically that address doesn’t even exist because the zip code which I was told and had written down for me at checkout (this is by the employee who told me his name is Adam despite not having a name tag) was wrong. So again I didn’t find out about this until days later and in fact I didn’t even know right away, after the ten days, because two conversations with the customer service agents over the phone got me absolutely nowhere and did absolutely nothing. It wasn’t until I went in a couple of days after that that I officially found out that the reason I couldn’t link my P.O. Box was because the one he told me he signed me up for didn’t actually exist and that it was in fact attached to a different zip code. After telling me this and then shortly looking in the back to see if perhaps one of the few items that I currently have in transit could have been delivered to the back rather than my P.O. Box (and could pick up at the counter)… of course he came back empty handed… but not entirely, because he also brought back the sticker that was initially put on my P.O. box, which listed my name as, “N Pluto” rather than my name N Pinto. With that being said I still have those few items in transit and I don’t know if all of them or most of them will be delivered due to this mistake and/ or potential theft by other (or the same) personnel. In addition to all this, the day after I finally did go in and was able to link my P.O. Box online, the very next day I was unable to log into my account. It is the case that I can now log into my account, however I still cannot submit a missing mail search request after multiple days of trying because the link simply isn’t working on my phone. So yeah, off to a bad start with several packages missing, incredibly obvious misinformation giving by your employees, system errors, poor customer service, the list does go on… but the biggest thing I’m concerned with is getting my packages which I paid for. Below is a picture of the note that Adam the employee wrote me when I asked if I could get a template for my address (save yourself the headache and go online).
