- RRRobert RJun 5, 20263.0The postmaster that was there the day I was inquiring about registered mail in comparison to certified mail and she didn't know anything about it. She couldn't tell me how it works. I have been instructed to use registered mail for all my letters to official agencies and the postmaster said it was only for bulk items. I'd never used it before but I always known that you can do registered anything you want. So their knowledge is lacking their Eagle Creek post office sorry to say
