  Really disappointing experience at the Dundee Post Office today. I came in around 3:30-3:45 PM to drop off an EDDM mailing for a local Dundee business. It was my first time using the program, and I had been working directly with a USPS Business Solutions Specialist who was walking me through the process. I followed the instructions I was given and arrived with everything labeled, bundled and organized. If I was missing paperwork, that's completely fine. I would have gladly corrected it and come back another day. Instead, the employee helping me, Vincent, was rude, dismissive, and confrontational. He repeatedly told me everything I had done wrong in front of other customers and eventually said, "It's 4:00 on a Friday, I'm not doing this, come back Monday or go somewhere with more tellers." He also insisted the mailing had to be paid for online. My USPS representative had told me I could pay at the Post Office, and I even pulled up USPS information on my phone showing that payment could be made there, but he wasn't interested in discussing it. I was there more than an hour before closing. If they didn't have time to process the mailing, a simple and polite explanation would have been completely understandable. As someone trying to support local Dundee businesses and help drive tourism to the area, this was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Extremely disappointing :(

  It would be nicer if they weeded the post office grounds and not make it look abandoned.

  This was my first time applying for a passport and everything went wrong. First, my passport book and card came out with a wrong date of birth despite having to send my birth certificate, how could they mess up if the proof was right there…. What was the point of asking then? But I don’t blame the employees for that, but when I went there to fix it, I sent my documents to correct it and told a woman in the Dundee passport office about the book that came out wrong and she immediately stopped listening and said she understands the whole deal. I thought she saw that I needed passport book, and passport CARD to be fixed. I head home ready to put my birth certificate away (she said I didn’t need it) and I saw that in the envelope I brought my stuff in, my Passport card was still there and didn’t get sent to be fixed…. So I went back with new documents and my card. This time it was Steven who helped me, he was very nice and helpful. He said my birth certificate was needed to be sent too with my book to be fixed in order to verify what exactly gotta be changed…. So now what? Hopefully my book gets my date of birth correct since at least I know my card will for sure have to get fixed 😭 but the fact that I even had to pay a $10 fee twice to correct this places mistakes is so annoying. This could’ve been easily avoided if the first woman could’ve let me finish my sentence by reminding her how my passport card needs to be fixed too. I was even considering registering myself to vote and submit my application here, but I bet if I make my voting registration over there, they’ll manage to mess up on my ballot and vote for the wrong candidate 😭

  Stopped by today 8/30/23 for a passport appointment and I was lucky enough to have met DANI!! Before making the appointment I had to read any recent review and seen one about her "Dani" she really is friendly, professional and quick... ect. I very much recommend anyone looking to book a future passport appointment do so here. Thank u Dani 🙏
