- CDCandi DJun 25, 20262.0Went inside to get visa photos and I said, "Hi, I need some passport like photos to a different scale and can I please use your restroom so that I can take out my piercings because the rules are a little stricter." A gentleman who turned out to be the owner asked me what I meant by passport like photos and claims "there's no such thing." Luckily, the more knowledgeable agent who helped me before immediately piped up and stated that I'd be able to find what I needed at Walgreens. So I'm on my way out but the owner decides to pick a argument with me and tell me that they don't have what I need, not because of their own software limitations but rather, because what I'm looking for is "a completely different concept" from passport photos. I teach English. Foreign Visa photos are not a different concept from passport photos. They are both considered biometric. The photos I need may have slightly stricter rules as for face visibility or require a different scale but it is not an entirely different concept or idea and it's definitely not something that you pick an argument with over a customer who's now going elsewhere because of your software limitations. Literally no need for that exchange in an attempt to belittle my audacity at asking for them to simply adjust the scale on their cameras.
