- RRRocketAug 2, 20261.0So I had spoken to some girl, agreed to bring in a resume the following morning to begin a new job. Some girl, who was sitting nearby listening, decided to call me after I left the office behind the recruiters back. (Maybe it wasn’t behind her back, maybe she was actually above the recruiters position) regardless of who she thought she was, there was no reason for her to call my cell phone and asked me if I was interested in starting a different job. Why does that make any sense? I sat there half an hour, she listened in on my convo confirming I was there for something specific. I’m good. don’t care about the rehire policy because- 1. Maybe the job the recruiter offered me was given away after I left. (I wasn’t promised only offered, but we’ll pretend that’s professional) 2. It’s not ok to call behind someone’s back. Even if you were above them and felt like you had the right, even if the recruiter I spoke with went home, it’s not right that I’m being called offered something different out of the blue AND expected to commit with a 10 second vague explanation. 3. Honestly their jobs are meaningless in the sense that it’ll hold you over until you find something real.
