When I returned to my home post office to explain the situation, Kelly was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. She took the time to listen, went to the back to call a supervisor, and worked to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, another front-desk employee, whose name I believe was Gladys, was very rude and disrespectful. While Kelly was actively trying to help, this employee repeatedly questioned me in front of other customers, insinuating that I was being dishonest. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable by the way I was spoken to. Although I did not have a printed receipt, I did have digital proof of payment from my bank, and I even offered to go back to the Norman post office to obtain a copy of the receipt. She spoke down on me and said harshly that’s not how it works” Despite this, the employee continued to question me rather than offering assistance or attempting to help resolve the issue. I want to specifically recognize Kelly for her professionalism, patience, and kindness. She treated me with respect and handled the situation appropriately. Unfortunately, the behavior of the other employee was disappointing and unprofessional.
