  A lien showed up after closing. Escrow kept saying I was prorated the amount. I pointed out the numbers to show that it wasn’t. They responded by saying “per contract it’s not up to us to recoup…” and basically told me to contact the seller. I will not be using them again.

  We sold a relative's house from out of state. This company was chosen by the buyer and was very difficult to work with. We filled out the paperwork online (that they sent us via email) and it became clear they never reviewed it. They waited until the day before the closing (three weeks later) to tell us that they needed a document. They didn't realize we were out of state and would need a mobile notary. They knew we were working with a probate attorney (info was included in the initial paperwork submitted), and yet they hired an outside attorney at twice the cost to do some paperwork. Of course, we were charged for the service. Our attorney said that was very unusual since he has completed the same paperwork for other probate clients for several hundred dollars less. The company was very difficult to get a hold of. We tried several times during the three week period because we knew that our situation was unusual. There was no contact via phone or email. Even our attorney had difficulty. Neither of us heard from them until the day before the scheduled closing. After all was said and done, the home was sold, but this company's lack of communication and disorganization made it more stressful. We will not ever have a need to use their services again, but our OH based attorney says he will avoid using them and discourage his clients from using them too.

  We've done many transactions and they try their very best to accommodate, communicate and execute. Even when there has been an issue, they made it right which is a measure of character and integrity. Looking forward to continuing my relationship.

  I have been working with Cleveland home title now for over 15 years I have found the owners Bill and Norm to be exceptional. They have helped with countless complicated problems that many other larger title companies would have just said NO. I will continue to use them and would recommend them to the professional or to the home-buyer as they will provide professional guidance though the whole process. Oh by the way its important to know that they are regulated on pricing so you are going to pay the same thing everywhere else. why not go to the best.
