I visited the location ahead of time and while I was greeted promptly, the employee continually had a phone conversation on what I assume is their personal device while trying to answer my questions. They did not have the shipping materials I needed in store, and the employee would not give me a price estimate for shipping the piece even though I had the exact dimensions with me (15"x30"x1.5", not a huge painting). She told me she would need to see it in order to quote me. I not only had to go home and try to DIY corner protectors and other shipping materials, but when my husband brought the package back to UPS we were charged $367 for shipping. This completely blind sighted not only me but also my client, who is now forced to pay more than double the cost of the painting in shipping using UPS. For that price, I feel like packaging the painting should have been included!! I have not had a poor experience before this, so I'm giving 3 stars, but beware before trying to ship anything larger than an envelope. Had I been given a proper quote I would have made a decision to ship elsewhere. I will update again when the package actually arrives to my client and hopefully it is not damaged.
