Delivered multiple packages to the wrong house then told us it was mail theft.

I’ve only lived in Troy for 3 1/2 years and I’ve always lived in the same place. I just experienced for the third time, my mail was not picked up to be sent out. Every time it was important mail that was time sensitive and my carrier never came. So now my taxes will be late for no fault of my own. I called to ask why my mail was not picked up, and she told me that I must have not gotten any email for that day so they overlooked that I had mail to be sent out. That is not acceptable. They are paid to do their route, my place is part of that. Everyday

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, I received a package I had ordered. It arrived slightly open and contained only one bottle, whereas there were supposed to be three. I am a regular customer of the Post Office, as I place orders on a daily basis. That package passed through distribution facilities in Dayton, Cincinnati, Jersey City (NJ), Newark (NJ), Linden (NJ), and—obviously—here in Troy. I cannot blame everyone, as it is impossible to know who possesses integrity and who does not; however, I am writing this so that a manager or senior postal official might read it and set their employees straight. After all, customers like me may seek out alternative options for placing orders—which would negatively impact you—and people may stop using your services for shipping altogether, turning to other providers instead, simply because your staff is stealing.

Tired of not getting my mail. And I can't just go and request another copy. I'm so tired of Troy post office not taking care of this appropriately. My carrier is great but his subs and the random people they put on my route are far from great.

I live in an apartment here in Troy. It is currently July 24th, 2019 and the last time we had ANY mail in our mailbox was July 17th, 2019. For exactly a week now we haven't received any of our mail. So I went ahead and called the 800 number to USPS to report the problem and the service center put me on hold for 57 minutes. After an hour of waiting the male whom helped me was an absolute sweetheart and was very upset with Troy's postal service. We filed a complaint and started a case on my issue. About an hour later I got a call from the Troy Office itself and the man was very standoffish, asked why I filed a complaint , then continued to find reasons as to why me not receiving my mail could have been my fault. After proving to him I have everything in our mailbox that needs to be there for the carrier, he gave up and told me he was going to call our carrier and ask why she hasn't been delivering our mail. At this point I'm still waiting for my mail. So if Troy Postal Office would love to pay my bills for me - I expect to receive my mail ON TIME!
