- EWElla WeilandFeb 24, 20183.0This morning a post man came up to our door, knocked and asked my 11yr. Old son where we wanted our packages front or back. Our son didn't really know but he said "front I guess but I'll have to go ask my parents". So we are sleeping because it's 10am on a Saturday, my son wakes us up I get out of bed to see what's going on. I open the front door he is outside sitting in his truck he sees me, so I'm waiting for him to come talk to me or something or start bringing the packages..you know because that's part of his job. He sees me and throws his hands up at me like I am supposed to be doing something, I put my finger up signaling for him to wait a second while I throw some shoes on and a coat because I just figure he wants me to help get my packages out of his truck or something??? I have my husband get up as well to help, figuring if the post man is acting like he can't move these boxes himself I won't be much help. My husband takes no time to get up just throws on a shirt. We get back out there and the postman had turned his truck around and was headed down the road. This whole process was less that a minute worth of time passed. My husband heads down the road to talk to the post man, catches up with him and tries to find out what's going on and my husband said the postman was snobby to him and had a terrible attitude stating he had other packages to deliver and he doesn't have time to wait to deliver our packages. So we didn't get our packages today he refused to deliver them even though he had them, right out in front of our house and we were obviously there. God forbid these packages were time constricted like for someone's medicine or a birthday party. Now I am sure we have to wait for Monday to recieve our items all because this man didn't feel like doing his job, I have never in my 34yrs. Of life ever had a post man act like this let alone act like it was my job to do his job or something. He ended up coming back and delivering the items thank God but again I have never had this experience with a post man before with such impatient attitude!
