- ATAlexandra TownsendSep 7, 20231.0Can’t stand how we keep getting someone else’s mail that isn’t ours. I live in a trailer park where the mail boxes are all mixed up yet there’s a specific note on the back of the box for the mail carrier to know whose is who. How the heck do they mix it up!? Not only that but I’ve been told multiple times that mail is slow, yet I have been receiving a lot of late mail lately and am not happy about this. This is not the first time it’s happened apparently either. I’m tempted to send everything back over to my parents cause at least they get their mail correctly.

I can understand how that can be overwhelming for a small town, but the amount of packages that never get to the proper location is getting out of hand. I would give a 1 star, but I do get my mail daily at 10 AM, pretty consistently.
- DRDaniel ReauFeb 7, 20201.0I gave them one star only because you can't give them zero stars. I've been up there four times and talked to the woman in charge and it hasn't changed a thing. I get my neighbors mail and he gets mine. We just take the mail to each other anymore because it doesn't do any good to make a complaint to the post office. We've even put a note in the mailbox to tell the mail lady to check the address and close the door to the mailbox and it doesn't do any good. She left the door open yesterday and our mail was wet when we got it. The door was closed today but the mail was wet because there was still some snow left from yesterday. They can't deliver packages right either. Our neighbor and us have had to take packages to each other because apparently the mail lady can't read addresses right. And the house number is on the mailbox post in big, easy to read numbers. Totally unbelievable how bad the service is in Swanton. I've never had such poor service from the post office anywhere else I've lived. And I've heard many other people voice the same complaints as I have about the Swanton post office. I can't believe that they still have a job and haven't been fired. Somebody needs to straighten out this post office asap.
