- PPPaulAug 27, 20201.0I used this title company to complete a for sale by owner transaction. From day one, they seemed very disorganized and had no sense of urgency to complete the transaction. I had to contact them multiple times to get answers regarding closing dates, documentation and final payment amount. I was left hanging until the last possible moment. Excuses were made each time I contacted them, which leads me to believe they are understaffed. The lack of communication was very discouraging. Since this was a cash deal, they informed me that I did not need to be present-- just scan documents via email. I asked them to hold the key for me since I would not be present. They agreed to do so, although mentioned that typically they do not. On closing day I received a call from the seller, asking what to do with the key--he had just left their office. They had completely forgotten my request for them to hold the key. I could not be more furious. I now had to make arrangements to get the key from the seller who lived over 3 hours away. Anyhow, it is safe to say that I will avoid using this company for future transactions.
