- PLPaul LaughlinOct 9, 20231.0I stopped in again just now on March 12, 2024 at 2:15pm. Same slender gentleman working from last time. No name tag. Wish they had name tags. He was eating so he just gestured for me to come over. He was in such a hurry he was literally ripping the Amazon items out of my hand. I have NEVER had someone do this at ANY UPS store. I get you are busy but wow. Then when I had to tap to bring one code up he came a cross annoyed bec he was in a hurry. It took maybe five seconds. He printed out the receipt for the return and handed it to me and said next customer. No “have a nice day” or anything. Basically no acknowledging the human in front of him, me. He needs to learn about customer service and the niceties. It’s not a race. I work in customer service myself and would never treat someone like a number. That’s exactly what he did to me today and before. I’m a human being. I get you are busy etc but this has been my experience each time. I won’t be back. Sounds like some training could be beneficial. Today I walked in. The woman and man behind the counter ignored me and said nothing. No eye contact at all.Then another woman from back came up and didn’t say anything to me, just gestured down here. Was very uncomfortable environment and not a friendly feel from the staff. I get they are busy but the niceties are important. I myself work in customer service. A smile and hello/thank you/we’ll be with you in a moment/have a good day goes a long way. Just sayin 😕
