I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience with a supervisor at the USPS office in Plain City. I visited the post office after a package I had shipped was returned to me. The package had originally been sent from a repair shop working on my car, and the sender’s name was accidentally omitted from the label and its their mistake. As I understand it, this was an error that occurred during the shipping process, and I was seeking clarification as to why the package had been returned. Throughout the conversation, I remained polite and asked whether I could have the package back so that I could deliver it personally, since I was already traveling to the same location. I also explained that, if the package had already left with the carrier, I was willing to wait outside for the mail carrier to return so I could take it with me. Instead of receiving assistance, I was met with a response that I found unprofessional. The supervisor spoke to me in a loud and dismissive manner and repeatedly instructed me to move my car. This occurred despite my calm and respectful conduct throughout the interaction. I was also concerned that law enforcement was later sent to my home in connection with this situation. I was not at home at the time, and the officer left a message asking me to contact him if I wanted to receive my package. I do not believe my conduct warranted police involvement, as I did not behave in a threatening or disruptive manner. I want to emphasize that this complaint is directed only at the supervisor. My experiences with USPS carriers and other employees have generally been positive, and I have found them to be professional and courteous. Unfortunately, this particular interaction did not reflect the standard of service I expect from USPS. I respectfully request that this incident be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to ensure customers are treated with professionalism and respect. I believe this matter could have been handled more appropriately, without escalation. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response.

Every time I have something coming from the Post office they either put it in the wrong mailbox or will not deliver it. Usually I get a non deliverable, business is closed. We are a business and are open, they never try. Worst post office ever.
