- JMJim McConnellAug 26, 20262.0Not sure why, but about 2 months ago they stopped performing acceptance scans for packaged that I drop off in the chute inside the post office. I drop off packages on may way to work before the counter opens so I place the items in the chute. It was never a problem until around June 2026. My son has lost $120 on packages that were lost during shipment and even though they were insured, he had no standing because the POST OFFICE NEVER did an acceptance scan. It cost $5.40 to ship packages that don't even weigh 2 ounces so that there is tracking per the onlline platform requirements to that the packages are tracked. Unfortunately as stated above, our packages are no longer be scanned by the North Lima Post office. A paid service not being provided by the USPS. So disappointing.

- TRTravis RothMay 11, 20261.0Don't bother getting your passport photo at this location. We made an appointment for our three kids and then they acted surprised when we showed up. Then two of my three kids photos were rejected due to the photos haven been taken incorrectly. They took the photos with my kids wearing their glasses, which is not allowed. I ended up retaking the photos myself and submitting them. I was told I cannot receive a refund on the photo fee because they can't do refunds. This seems about right for an agency ran by the federal government. Ridiculous!
