They started locking doors for self service from 7pm-5am daily due to “vandalism”, yet I’ve been going there everyday for the last week and a half BEFORE 7pm & the doors are already locked. It’s ridiculous because someone of us can’t check our P.O. Boxes or use self service before 5pm due to work or other reasons & this makes it impossible to get mail sent out that needs a shipping label and other services able to fulfill if had the self service machine. I’ve never seen any vandalism at the post office & im at the post office almost every single day except for the last week & a half due to them locking the doors earlier than posted on their notice on the door….tried calling the officer in charge & of course they didn’t answer their phone & conveniently their voicemail is full. If going to close earlier than 7pm then they need to post a new notice on the front of the building. Just since writing this review, 4 elderly people have pulled in to drop off mail to be mailed & a middle aged couple also but none of us can due to simply because whoever is in charge of locking up, doesn’t feel like waiting til 7pm. Yeah they have a drop box by the street, but some of our mail is bigger than a flat rate envelope & wont fit in the tiny slot. They need to either stay open til when they have posted or make other arrangements for people to be able to use services after 5pm.

I got notices that my 2 packages were delivered but my camera shows the mail person just walking across my lawn 15 feet from my door and not dropping anything off. Trying to file a missing mail claim is an absolute nightmare because it doesn't give you any choices on the drop box but then gets mad you don't pick anything.
