- CCCheryl1 day ago2.0This review is regarding two workers, one with glasses and one without. I needed to buy a large mailing envelope. The woman without glasses was super helpful. She answered my questions and directed me to the correct area to find the envelopes. 5 stars for her. After I completed addressing the envelope and placing my items in it, there was a male customer having a conversation at the counter the woman without glasses, . The worker with glasses (who wasn't taking care of a customer) was talking to him as well. I waited until she decided to acknowledge me to be called to the counter. I told her what I needed to mail, she asked me questions super quickly, and started talking again to the other customer, completely ignoring me. She talked to him the entire time I was standing in front of her. She was so involved in talking to him. I had questions, and couldn't get a word in. When I did ask them, her look to me was like 'why are you interrupting me?' She only stopped talking to the other man to say "I need you to answer the survey on the screen." It was a picture of three emojis- a sad face, a neutral face and a happy face. To the woman with glasses- if a customer is standing in front of you, at least have the decency to engage with them the transaction they need to complete.

I have had a recurring issue of them pulling envelopes sent to me and flagging them as "parcels" and charging me an addition $6. Over and over. When I would ask them why, they would say "Its a package". I looked up info online which showed it was qualified as an envelope/first class mail. I called USPS and spoke to customer service and they confirmed it would be an envelope. Finally spoke to the postmaster in person today and she measured it and confirmed it was. I hope they will remedy the situation and it won't be a continued problem.

If you approach them with courtesy and common sense, I consistently see employees offer the same in return.
