I told them I’m not getting very important bills that I need to pay that only do mail payments, and I need the paper ones, that I’ve had to cancel a debit card, that I’m not getting other important things that were mailed to me. I was simply letting her know that this issue is affecting a lot of things I need. GINGER’s response to that was to let me know that “did you know whether you get your mail or not it’s your responsibility to pay your bills?”. Excuse me? Then when I tell her it’s inappropriate for her to comment on anything like that, because I’m calling about mail not being delivered, not for a life lesson (which is absolutely the truth, there was no reason for her to say these things to me), she hung up on me with literally no resolution on how to start getting my mail. This is how they treat people. They told me “you don’t even get mail you just get packages”. Really? Because I mailed something to myself 3 weeks ago to test if I’d even get it and I never did. Over a month with zero mail and she tries to give me a life lesson and hangs up the phone instead of fixing their mistake that they don’t know how to do. I’ve been in the post office twice, opened 3 cases so far for their 1-800 number. There’s no way to get through to a supervisor for any of your issues locally. They give you a number to get in touch if you’re still having issues but then they never answer it or return the call when you leave voicemails. You go in and stand in line for 25 minutes just for them to make you fill out a generic paper and tell you “I’ll get it to a supervisor when I get to it” (when I filed a complaint they were very surprised to hear about this because they asked me if I could go in and talk to the post master and I let them know they do not let you at this location they make you fill out the generic form). Their employees are unhelpful and in Gingers specific case, rude and completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I filed an official complaint against her specifically and then this office as a whole.
