- RDRyan DanielsJun 26, 20261.0If you have the option NOT TO RECEIVE packages via the Columbus FedEx location - don't. This review isn't based off one experience; it's based off years of experiences at this point. They will update your delivery status by pushing back the delivery date one day at a time. When your 2 day shipment eventually becomes 7-10 days while the tracker says "out for delivery" every one of those days, don't be shocked. Then, when you call FedEx to take matters into your own hands, arrange to put the package on hold at the City Gate location, verify your pickup date with the FedEx representative so you can pick up the package youself, don't be surprised if the package was never put on hold. Nope - it's still on the truck and your tracking information moves one day into the future stating "out for delivery". Is the entire company dysfunctional? Probably not. But the Columbus branch has been struggling to connect the dots for years now. Avoid shipping FexEx if your recipient is served by the Columbus Ohio hub.
