  This was the worst service experience I have ever had. After waiting a week for my packages—which had been held up in customs—and missing my art exhibition, I went to the DHL location where Juniper (the manager) had previously been kind enough to help me track the shipment by making calls and double-checking its status. On the afternoon of September 24, 2026, I encountered a different staff member; I explained the situation and asked if I could reship the items to a different address. My two packages were physically right there—I could see them—and I wanted to pick them up and ship them out again. The attendant bluntly told me he wasn't authorized to handle such transactions and that I needed to call customer service. I reiterated that I wanted to pick up the packages and then ship them. He kept insisting that I could "only" either pick them up *or* ship them. I said it again: I would pick them up, *and then* ship them. No—according to him, I had to call customer service. I was incredulous, embarrassed, and truly didn't know what to do. So, I picked up the packages, called an Uber, and went to a nearby UPS point, where a helpful young man shipped them for me. I am reporting the incident to my DHL contact in Italy and to customer service in the USA.
