  Not a problem with the people or post office itself but the truck drivers who deliver the mail to post office they do not follow the do not enter sign drive over my lawn and knock plant pots into the road on van buren ou of my yard practically hit my vehicle and all the driver.r has to say to me is sorryleft aessage with a postal employee to have post master come speak to me hopefully that happens ....i have to edit my teview becauseike the post madter came over spoke with me snd filing a report with amazon about their truck drivers

  Staff always has great attitude. Never a problem with any postal task I bring them.

  I went to pick up a package. My teenage son ran in to get it for me. He waited in line and when he got to the counter was told his mom would have to come in for it. He said he would go get me and walked out. I walked in and they locked the door, said it was their lunch break. What? They just told him to go get me! They couldn’t hand me the package before lunch? Horrible customer service.

  UPDATE: since I originally posted this review, we have a new mail carrier, Amy. She's wonderful at her job and we so appreciate her kindness and professionalism. She's a five-star person, and I'm happy to add a couple of stars to the original review score just for her. Notwithstanding, counter service at this office is still terrble. - - - - - There are only so many complaints I can file with the Office of Inspector General about this office and our terrible [previous] mail carrier. Mail is routinely misdelivered; we commonly receive our neighbors' mail and I can only assume that our neighbors routinely receive ours. She routinely mangles and destroys large envelopes by folding them and their included contents in order to save herself the seconds it would take to pull down our driveway and place the mail on the porch. Scheduled, guaranteed delivery date packages are routinely delayed once they reach the Clinton post office. We actually witnessed our mail carrier drive her truck through a mailbox and into a ditch directly north of our address. Does she drink on the job? At least then there would be a decent excuse for why half of our packages are late and the other half are damaged. Honestly, I'd be willing to excuse the poor performance of a mail carrier if the rest of the office employees would make some attempt to rectify her mistakes. But they don't; complaints always fall on deaf ears. I'm wondering if they may, in fact, be deaf as I have to wait patiently at the counter while they laugh in the back room about how terrible our mail carrier is. Calling for assistance is either ignored or met with the odd mix of hostility and indifference. They *know* that they're awful at their jobs, and they revel in that fact. There can't be much of a point in negatively reviewing or complaining about this office, because it will certainly continue operating at the same level of ridiculous ineptitude until this great nation of ours fails or the sun burns out. But the sufferings of the residents of South Main Street need to be recorded. Our children and the many generations that follow must know our struggles. They need to know that we fought... that we persisted... that we endured. Also, here's a picture of an envelope of photos that was ruined.
