  Can ANYONE especially someone of a Federal Postal management level PLEASE explain why a USPS Post Office has this many low or should say HORRIBLE reviews spanning last 8 years +? I'm totally shocked this is the way USPS considers normal without someone investigating whats going on there.This place looks to be a bad stain on the entire system in general. Now my problem too, because they've lost an expensive package that was purchased on Ebay and I don't even live in this area but out my item now because someone can't do their job. PostaI person told me on the phone that my package along with several others are missing or "misplaced". I've personally never heard of this place before now but after looking at the unbelievable long list of negative reviews place needs a complete overhaul and apparently complete new staff too from what I've read!!!!

  Every postal worker here that I've encountered have been over friendly, helpful, and patient. I can ship something from here to almost anywhere in a couple days. I go a mile or so in the other direction and put it in a Cinci zip code blue box and it can take 5+ days just to get an hour or two down the road. Swore off of all postal places around Batavia besides here unless companies require othe carriers

  I had a package from Russia that took a month to get to my place. Essentially the package needed a signature and I was at work and couldn't get the package. I later went down to the office hopefully to pick it up. They didn't have it on hand. The next time I had the chance I went down there to ask about the package, They STILL did not know where it was but gladly took my signed signature saying they could drop off my package whenever they could find it. I gave it even more days...still nothing. I went down there a 3rd time. Still couldn't locate it, they took my number and address down and would call me when something came up. A few days later still nothing. I went down a 4th time and they still couldn't find it. After talking with the post master he basically told me it was lost and that the carrier (whom I found it are contract workers who deliver) must have misplaced somehow because packages like mine basically get put on a table or put in a special pin and then are transferred to a safe. My package never made it to said safe and as a result it just went "missing" as there was no tracking movement to indicate it went somewhere else by mistake. I basically was told sorry and to file a claim and get reimbursed. Well because the website suddenly wouldn't take my Russian tracking number in the claim portion of the website (it still did in the tracking portion but not the claim one...how convenient) I'am not currently on the phone to speak to someone about my claim or at least get it filed with a waiting time of about 1hr and 16mins. Long story short this post office is terrible. I would do anything you can to avoid this place for both your receiving and shipping needs. This is why people go through fedex and UPS to avoid this sort of issues. I've never heard of a package not being able to get delivered on 1 attempt and then weeks later the package goes missing. Yes all the other reviews of this post office are correct they are really that bad. Avoid if at all possible for your own well being and sanity. I beg of you please avoid this place. If I could give no stars in my review I would have easily.
