I'm highly disappointed in the customer service I received from Staples. I ordered and paid for business cards that I specifically needed for an event on Saturday. When I picked them up yesterday, I noticed that the hot pink in my submitted design had printed red. I mentioned that I need hot pink because that is the brand and I was told there was a printer issue and that they would try again today. Today, I received a call saying the issue still wasn't resolved. Because I need the cards tomorrow, I explained the urgency and asked if they could check with another nearby Staples to see if that location could print them correctly. I was told she was too busy with other orders to do that. I explained I'm busy too but I wanted to ensure that I said the right thing because I didn't want the cards to come out red at another location too. Then a refund was offered and no further assistance. And also, I finally learned that the actual problem was that the store was missing a color needed to print my design correctly. Had I been told that yesterday, I could have immediately looked for another printing option and still had time to get my cards before my event. Instead, I've now lost that time, don't have the event cards I ordered, and have to wait 5–7 business days for a refund on an order I had already paid for. I understand that equipment and supply issues happen. What I don't understand is the lack of communication and assistance once the problem occurred. As a paying customer with a time-sensitive order, I believe I deserved to be informed of the real issue upfront and given reasonable assistance finding another solution.

Beware of what you have printed at this location. We had valuable coupons printed for our business, and they printed extras for themselves. I will not be using this print center again.
