  I have the same exact problem as the reviews I've perused here. I've received mail that doesn't even go to my STREET. A half eaten sandwich in my mailbox. Several pieces of misdelivered mail. Finally after years I finally sent a complaint. Since April of 2025 I've complained about misdelivered mail 4-5 times and only recently got a "resolution" of sorts (supervisor made me put my name on my mailbox, effectively putting the blame on the postal customer-despite my address and apartment number being firstly on my envelopes and secondly in plain view by my mailbox). Once I complained again I left the other person's mail sitting outside my mailbox for 3 days after the misdelivery, each day it was stuffed back in my mailbox. The supervisor's excuse was there was a "new guy from Utica who was unfamiliar with the area" the day of the misdelivery...but that still does not account for the following three days when it was still stuffed back into my mailbox. It's inexcusable as much as it is pathetic but the post master general is too important to investigate these and the supervisor isn't any more useful. So there you go folks, tax dollars going to disservice and with abysmal return.

  I have never had one issue with the Yorkville post office. They are wonderful people.

  Story time, so strap in! I can't even begin to tell you how many times my mail has gone to the wrong house, as well as my mothers. Both of us live in separate apartments in the same building... this time it cost me money! In less than a year and a half, my mail has gone to my neighbor down stairs... my mother downstairs, my neighbor across the street, and this guy CONTINUED to deliver my mothers mail to my box for a solid MONTH after i taped a note IN BIG BOLD LETTERS that said she DOES NOT live here! She put her initials outside of her door, BIG wooden initials, with her name printed ON THE BOX... Still doesn't seem to comprehend. Once i began leaving her mail under the box, he finally got it... and then he stopped delivery to her address ENTIRELY until she called and complained. As i type this, my wife is speaking to the supervisor about a package i should have had days ago. It shouldn't be difficult to match a name, with a number buddy... lay off the sauce!
