Sadly Im not sure if this review reflects this branch or the postal service itself but I think it is important I leave this review. There is no valid phone number to reach this branch directly, so if you have an issue, you will be wasting 30 minutes through the USPS help line to try and get anyone who will speak to you or you just have to go in person. It is completely unacceptable that I cannot contact this branch directly. The woman who helped me ship my package there gave me a receipt with a tracking number that shows up as invalid on the USPS website. So rather than being able to just simply call them and resolve this through quick conversation, I have to jump through hoops to even get a person on the phone, who really can't do much to help because they're an off site customer service representative that does not work at that branch, so if the phone number online is incorrect (which it is) then they have no way to contact the branch either. Hopefully they resolve this because this is absolutely asinine.

This is an incompetent post office. When I came into this office, there was no one online. The person behind the counter was sitting on her phone. After a while, she decided to press a few buttons on her keyboard, then pull her mask up and look at me. I dropped off a package with a tracking number, and she took it. By the next day, there had been no updates. There’s no direct line to this post office, so I went back and inquired about the package. The guy who was there said the status was awaiting shipment. I replied that yes, I purchased a shipping label with a tracking number, and that’s what that status meant. I told him that I dropped it off the day before. He said that the lady probably didn’t scan it yesterday, and there’s nothing he can do. There won’t be any status until it actually reaches its destination. So essentially, I purchased a shipping label with a tracking number, but I can’t track it, even though I paid for that service.

We just filed a complaint with the USPS directly online. I recommend others do the same so maybe they look into this place. They had the notorious out to lunch sign up again at 4:15pm, while they close at 5. This place has been like this forever and no one does anything about it. I believe one of the workers may have retired who had a really poor attitude all the time and made you feel like she was doing you a favor by doing her job. There is a new young lady who is very nice, when you catch her. But this issue with out to lunch at crazy times, as well as closing before 5 on many occasions, leaving people with no option but to go to UPS and pay more is out of control. Horrible way to do business, but then again welcome to our government lately.
