Customers should understand that everyone has bad days, this location I think gets the most of Rockland's BS. Them being open late 7 days a week and open weekends, even Sunday till 7pm...Having to do all the passports. Everyone says this post office is rude and I've never had a problem here. I've met every single employee and dealt with them even during some difficult packages. Sometimes you can get an attitude, or you can tell someone dealt with a a difficult customer before you, so you don't get any smiles... But try not to take things personally. This post office is overworked and under appreciated. Drop off your package and go about your day. Forgot your tape? Don't ask them to borrow any. Buy your own. Come prepared. Do everything you can to make it a better experience and easier for both parties. 😊
- RRRoseJul 31, 20261.0There must be an employee handbook on how to be rude to people in that location. I had a very disappointing experience. The staff a Middle Eastern decent woman and a black man came across as rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping customers. They were there to collect a paycheck rather than provide any service. The store was empty but they kept saying my appointment time had passed and couldn’t help me. The negative attitudes made the entire experience frustrating. I had to take time off from work to get the passports done. Good customer service starts with treating people respectfully, and that was clearly lacking here. Hopefully management finds a way to address the culture and hold employees accountable for professionalism (won’t hold my breath because it’s a cushy government job and I’m sure they have union backing) just overall very nasty behavior.
